Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have any questions about the Commerzbank Corporate Banking portal? You can find the answers here.

How can I activate online banking for myself?

Contact your corporate customer advisor for activation.

Online banking is already activated for me. How do I log in?

You can access your online banking applications from the top-right corner of the page. Enter your user number and PIN here. Of course you can also log in with your GPP stick.

How do I create or change my alias name?

Instead of your user number, you can also log in to the Corporate Banking portal using a freely selectable login name (alias). To create a login name, select the item "Maintenance" in the top navigation bar and then click on "Login name".

In addition to your user number you can now also create a personal login name which is easy to remember. The selected login name must be between eight and 50 characters long. The characters permitted are the digits 0 to 9, the letters A to Z and the special characters @, underscore, hyphen and dot. Blank spaces are not permitted. No distinction is made between uppercase and lowercase.

How do I change the language?

To change the language, click on the link "Worldwide" at the top in the metanavigation. A map of the world opens. Here you can select the required region and relevant language.

Please note that it is no longer possible to change the language after login. You first have to log off again and then change the language.

Which different PINs do I need?

For general access to the Corporate Banking portal you need a PIN (so-called login PIN). To sign orders in Global Payment Plus you need a PIN which is independent of the portal access (so-called signature PIN).

How do I change my login PIN?

To change your login PIN, after login select the item "Maintenance". Then click "Login data (PIN)" and select "Change password PIN".

How do I lock my login PIN?

To lock your login PIN, select the item "Maintenance". Then click "PIN maintenance" and then "block access".

What do I have to do if my login PIN is locked?

If you have entered your login PIN three times incorrectly, access will automatically be blocked. Please call us to reactivate your access.

How do I select a start-up application?

In the selection menu below click "Select start-up application", select your favourite start-up application and then click the "Save start-up application" button.

What do I do if applications do not open?

This may be due to missing authorisations, among other things. Please contact us in this case.

In the GPP application, on the start page ("Overview") select the function "Change signature PIN" and follow the instructions.

What do I have to do if my signature PIN is locked?

If you have entered your signature PIN three times incorrectly, access will automatically be blocked. Please call us to reactivate your access.

The browser does not automatically start after insertion of the signature stick. What can I do?

Change to the drive which appears after insertion of the signature stick and, if using a computer running Windows, open the file autostart.exe. If using a computer running MAC, open the file Start_GlobalPaymentPlus.

No drive is displayed after insertion of the signature stick. What can I do?

A large number of network drives may be connected. Disconnect the first network drive (e.g. F:) and insert the signature stick again; if necessary, disconnect other drives.

Can I also use Global Payment Plus without a signature stick/card?

Yes, use a locally installed browser for this to log into the Corporate Banking portal. If you don't use the signature stick and associated signature card, you can use Global Payment Plus in read-only mode, for example, for looking at account information and the order status. Orders can only be approved with an electronic signature using the signature stick and card.

What do I have to observe during the initialisation process of Global Payment Plus?

All important information and tips on initialising Global Payment Plus can be found here.

How do I use Treasury Management?

To be able to use Treasury Management you need access data for the Commerzbank Corporate Banking portal with authorisation for Treasury Management. Your corporate customer advisor or cash management specialist will be happy to inform you and arrange activation for you.

How does Treasury Management support me in my daily work?

Treasury Management is an Internet-based finance management system for processing cash and treasury management. All the necessary information is summarised in order to simplify your daily work, if necessary including Group/holding company, branches and subsidiaries and for optimum control of liquidity planning.

You will also find a wide range of standard reporting functions which provide a quick overview of the financial status of the company and which support you in internal company communication. The management of daily account movements by value date and the creation of investment/borrowing proposals are also shown, as is the simulation of cash pooling transactions. FX management, contract management, credit line and limit management as well as guarantee management and, upon customer request, a netting module complete the range of services.

Which technical requirements have to be met in order to be able to use Treasury Management?

Treasury Management can be called from any Internet PC with a common, standard browser. Software installations or similar are not required for its use.

Do I need any additional hardware or software in order to be able to use Treasury Management?

No, generally not. If you would like to process your payment transactions using Treasury Management, you will, however, need a GPP stick to sign the payment transaction orders.
